This is a street tree in Quito, Ecuador but here in New England we can be content to admire the shrubby, well branched growth with brilliant violet 1-2" flowers all summer. The green leaves have a downy layer making the foliage seem silvery. Nice planted in masses or trained to topiary in a tub. Size: 24-30" Spacing: 10-14"; Full sun
